Hilti Obtains IBC 2012 and AC 70 Recognition for Power-Actuated Fasteners
Hilti continues our dedication to bringing products to our contracting and engineering partners that meet the latest requirements of the International Building Code (IBC) by obtaining power-actuated code listings for IBC 2012.
In addition, Hilti has completed the task of updating all of the ICC-ES Evaluation Service Reports(ESRs) for the Hilti power-actuated fastener portfolio in steel and concrete base materials (in accordance with ICC-ES AC70) to provide recognition for many non-structural seismic applications in all Seismic Design Categories A through F, with the following newly issued evaluation reports:
- ESR-1663 for Hilti general application fasteners
- ESR-1752 for Hilti metal track fasteners
- ESR-2269 for Hilti innovative X-U Universal Knurled Shank fasteners
- ESR-2892 for Hilti X-CW ceiling wire assemblies
- ESR-2184 for Hilti X-CC ceiling clip fasteners
- ESR-2347 for Hilti stud fasteners for attachment to steel (including the innovative X-BT blunt-tip fastener)
- ESR-2795 for Hilti X-HS threaded rod hangers
